Ways to follow
Jesus never struggled to convince people to follow Him. In fact, He even turned down some people’s requests to follow Him after they gave Him excuses (see Luke 9:57-62). If you are a leader and you are struggling to rally people around you to push God’s divine vision on board, you must pray for that spiritual gift because you need it badly.
Because the world is under constant development, there will be new inventions that will try to take away the people of God’s allegiance. And because of that, there shall be a scarcity of hearing sound doctrine teaching, not because they won’t be available, but because many won’t listen to such people.
The devil, knowing how essential marriage is in God’s plan, is working day and night to destroy many homes. And sadly, many people aren’t doing much about it. Today, I want to take one incident that happened in the Bible, specifically Hosea 3, which I hope will help every married person enduring the pain of loving an adulterous wife.
Timely obedience to God can prevent delays in your life and save generations of people from encountering things they aren’t supposed to. Never disregard God’s Word of instruction.
Teaching sound doctrine is undoubtedly one of the hardest parts of every preacher’s work in Christ. It means that you ought to spend adequate time with the Bible to understand what God wants you to preach in a thorough way without errors before ministering to God’s people. Some congregants think this is no work, but really it is.
God is good and wants your life to be more than ordinary. Live focused, and don’t let what others do which are not part of your divine agenda affect you. Reject some offers to stay with God’s vision.
You’ll become what you consume. It’s that simple. In other words, what you keep eating, watching and hearing will heavily influence your life, both in thought patterns and physicality. So check your diet, dear Christian.
Plans are good and having a vision is essential in life. Why? At least, it gives a person’s life a sense of purpose and direction. However, being consumed by the plans can be problematic if there is no spirit of patience, especially for Christians. Today, that advice goes to you.
Dear leader, you must always run checks on your heart. Because when your heart is not right with God, you’ll do things God hasn’t commanded you to do even though you may see nothing wrong with it. Never abuse your calling, and remain accountable to God and the spiritual heads over your life.
If you are being persecuted for upholding the standards of Christ in your life, commit your soul to God and endure the affliction, But remember that God’s reward for you is far greater than that affliction. Be encouraged.
If you take to heart what people say about you, I’m sorry, but you’ll hear too many disgusting words, even from people you’ve helped, that you may never dream of. Ingratitude is part of men’s behaviour these last days (see 2 Timothy 3:2). So don’t expect people always to say good things about you because you might be setting yourself up for disappointment.
In Galatians 6:9, Paul implored the believers in the Galatian church, saying they should not grow weary of doing good. But why? For in due season, they shall reap a harvest if they don’t lose heart. This, in fact, is one of the most encouraging verses in the Bible, especially to those heartbroken by others who have repaid evil for the good they did for them.
