When it comes to God’s kingdom, this Jesus, who is our Lord and Saviour, also has a mission. However, it’s not just a mission for the Church but the whole universe. In this article, I am going to take you through it.
You’ll become what you consume. It’s that simple. In other words, what you keep eating, watching and hearing will heavily influence your life, both in thought patterns and physicality. So check your diet, dear Christian.
When humans sin, it really infuriates God. I believe the ongoing sins in this generation are far worse than those committed by the people who lived in Noah’s time. But one thing that hasn’t made God wipe out the human race was the declaration He made when Noah offered a sacrifice unto Him that He won’t destroy the Earth with water again (see Genesis 8:21). Nevertheless, the second coming of Jesus is near, and God will judge the Earth. So live clean before Him.
God is a Spirit (see John 4:24). That means, what He will directly give you will be of spiritual substance, not material things. So, if He wants to provide you with something material, He’ll use a human or something earthly (including animals) to give you that, not He Himself. Therefore, for the Bible to say He has blessed you with every spiritual blessing means that whatever spiritual provision He wants to give you in your whole lifetime is already done.
Have you heard of the Bereans in Acts 17:10-15? Paul preached the Word powerfully to them. But they went to check the scriptures to confirm whether or not what Paul said was true. That is wisdom. It is not enough to hear the Word of God being preached. You must know God for yourself. When you know God, you will understand His ways and, therefore, not follow the destructive ways of the false prophets.
Plans are good and having a vision is essential in life. Why? At least, it gives a person’s life a sense of purpose and direction. However, being consumed by the plans can be problematic if there is no spirit of patience, especially for Christians. Today, that advice goes to you.
Jesus is the reliable prophetic message that is spoken about in the verse above. His Word is dependable. He’s not like men who say one thing and do another. No! Jesus, being faithful, will never flaunt His Word concerning your life.
Dear leader, you must always run checks on your heart. Because when your heart is not right with God, you’ll do things God hasn’t commanded you to do even though you may see nothing wrong with it. Never abuse your calling, and remain accountable to God and the spiritual heads over your life.
The Word is truth, and it’s not fake. But to insist on this, Peter wrote about it in 2 Peter 1:16-18, where he took time to disband the claims of false teachers and prophets going around to say the gospel wasn’t relevant in those times. Today, that scripture, 2 Peter 1:16-18 is important to discuss because the attack on the gospel hasn’t changed. Let’s take them on verse by verse.
Tongues speaking is one of the most debated topics in the Christendom. In this Bible study, you’ll learn what the Bible says about it in great detail.
Many believers forget what they hear in church. For that reason, it will be necessary for preachers to emphasise the truth consistently. The gospel is powerful enough to keep impacting people; it’ll never make people dull of hearing. Treasure these things, dear minister.
