Some believers do things which rather grieve the Spirit instead of glorifying Him in our lives. And sincerely speaking, many of these believers don’t know or like what they’re doing because God prompts them to stop it. Learn what it means when the Bible says “Do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God.”

Today’s Word is a reference to our suffering and probably an encouraging message to you and me. That is, our author and finisher of our faith, Christ, also suffered for sins. So even though we suffer for righteousness’ sake, Christ suffered and paid the price of the righteousness we are in Him.
Salt, in real life, cannot lose its saltiness or flavour. So, for Jesus to say if it loses its saltiness, obviously, He wasn’t referring to typical salt. Instead, He was referring to we believers in Christ. According to Jesus, a believer can lose his saltiness. But in what way? It’s mainly by not living in the consciousness of your identity in Christ.
To sanctify the Lord God in your heart means to revere Him every single time, whether man recognises it or not. That is why as a believer, doing the right thing at all times will amaze others. But such is your life.
To blaspheme against the Holy Spirit means not giving Him due reverence for His work on this Earth. And anybody who knows God intimately will never speak against Him. So believers cannot consciously commit such a sin.
