If We Say We Have No Sin – 1 John 1:8-10

Once you are living inside a body subject to fleshly lusts, you have “sin.” In other words, you may not have sin inside you as a Christian (because your inner man is saved and renewed by the Spirit), but sin is close to you because of the presence of your sinful flesh, which can be triggered to make you do wrong things when you’re tempted. Get this well, so that you’ll not deceive yourself into thinking that you are stormproof to temptation.

Fellowship with God and with One Another as Believers – 1 John 1v5-7

Do you know that fellowship with God and with one another as believers in Christ is so important? Yet, it is one of the spiritual treasures the devil works so hard to eliminate in people’s lives. Many people have time for everything else except their own prayer and Bible study time. Some find it hard to even come to church, if not at all, at least on Sundays. Be Steadfast in the Lord – 2 Peter 3v14-18

From this, it’s pretty clear there’s no space for funfaring when it comes to living by the principles of God. You need to be vigilant and give no space for the devil.
