God is a very generous God. He liberally gives wisdom to whoever asks Him for it (see James 1:5). He, through Jesus, sets people free when they get saved (see John 8:36). So, anytime He puts a limit to something, it is always for the good of the benefactor and nothing bad.
Never shun God’s instruction to do big things. Only ask for resources. There is no vision God hasn’t made provision for. In the case of Adam, he came to meet it. In our case, we need to ask Him for it.
God made Adam a living soul because He knew it would be subject to corruption due to sin. If He had made him a life-giving Spirit (which He has for everyone who accepts Jesus as Lord and personal Saviour – see 1 Corinthians 15:45), Adam and Eve’s fall would have been eternally incorrigible. And that would have been very, very dangerous. Imagine not being able to correct a mistake you made for life. How bad will it be?
God rested from all His work, which he had done on the seventh day. You may say, but God has no limit to His strength. Yes, that’s true. So, the reason why He rested on the seventh day was not because of tiredness. Instead, it was to reflect on the labour He put into rebuilding the world after it was first destroyed with water. That revelation carries the principle of rest and leave from work, be it in ministry or corporate environment.
God has loaded you with more seeds than you can ever imagine. The ideas are seeds, and the creative thinking is also a seed. Whatever skill you have, even if it’s poor in first-hand use, is a seed inside you. And to be fruitful with it, you must place all of them to work, usually harnessing one or two to the best at a time in season.
The reason why God created man was for him to have dominion over all the earth. Take it, and you’ll benefit from it; play with it, and others will succeed and even rule over your life as they create products and services you cannot live without.
God first created the Earth in Genesis 1:1, which nobody had details of how it was until it became void and formless. So, the actual creation story from Genesis 1:6-25 talks about how God fixed the formlessness and voidness situation of the first Earth that was destroyed. Now, let’s have a look at how God made the first world.
What comes to mind when you hear the instruction “Let there be light” as you read Genesis 1:3-5? Maybe, to you, it’s about God distinguishing light from darkness.
