Ways to follow
Once you are living inside a body subject to fleshly lusts, you have “sin.” In other words, you may not have sin inside you as a Christian (because your inner man is saved and renewed by the Spirit), but sin is close to you because of the presence of your sinful flesh, which can be triggered to make you do wrong things when you’re tempted. Get this well, so that you’ll not deceive yourself into thinking that you are stormproof to temptation.
Do you know that fellowship with God and with one another as believers in Christ is so important? Yet, it is one of the spiritual treasures the devil works so hard to eliminate in people’s lives. Many people have time for everything else except their own prayer and Bible study time. Some find it hard to even come to church, if not at all, at least on Sundays. Why are all these things happening? Maybe some of us don’t treasure divine fellowship that much, and that is one of the main purposes of my writing this article, inspired by 1 John 1:5-7.
In 1 John 1:1-4, Apostle John explained that Jesus was from the beginning, confirming the truth that Jesus existed long before He appeared on earth as God’s incarnate Word. John directly heard Jesus speak, saw Him, looked upon Him and touched Him. Jesus is indeed the Word of life.
