Five Great Christian Websites That Will Help You Grow Spiritually

In our ever-advancing world of technology, many platforms have been developed (and are being developed) to help Christians all over the world access good spiritual content to help them connect to God more deeply.

From YouTube channels of churches to social media pages, now, new websites are constantly being developed, and articles are written each day to help answer questions many believers search online for results. Search engines like Google and Bing weren’t developed for only businesses. Christians can use it wisely too.

In my research online to find great Christian websites to help me connect to God deeply, I encountered five of them, of which I want to pen an article about it. Maybe, it’ll ease your research work for these kinds of websites.

Please note that they aren’t arranged in any order. However, some are of higher web authority than others.

1. The Bible Daily Network – www.bibledaily.net

This website was developed in late 2021 by a team of developers in Ghana, of which I am part. The organisation produces daily web devotional content with prayer points and downloadable quote images.

Furthermore, they also produce weekly articles about topical questions in the Bible every Saturday. You can also get free phone wallpapers each month available for download free of charge. Check them out here.

2. Desiring God Ministries – www.desiringGod.org

As for this website, it has been in existence for more than two decades. It was founded by Pastor John Piper and his team. They publish daily articles, one Bible study content (blog, video and podcast) per week and a daily devotional called Solid Joys Devotional.

They’ve been instrumental to my understanding of several questions about the Bible since I started reading articles from their website in 2022. You can check them out here.

3. Messenger International – www.messengerx.com

MessengerX platform is a recent website and mobile app developed by the Messenger International team – a ministry founded by John and Lisa Bevere in 1990. The website is just the web version of the mobile application on Appstore and Google Play Store.

On the platform, there are free courses, books, mini-books and other related content. I’ve been using this platform, particularly the iPhone version, since its inception on January 4, 2021. I can attest to the fact that the resources are so good. Check it out here.

4. The Gospel Coalition – www.thegospelcoalition.org

This website is also one of the top-visited Christian websites. I don’t know when it was founded, but I am aware they also publish daily Christian web articles. Their content is good, and I recommend it to you. Check it out here.

5. Crossway – www.crossway.org

Crossway is the official publisher of the English Standard Version (ESV) Bible. Aside from their Bible-publishing work as a ministry, they frequently publish web articles about salient Bible topics. You can check them out here.
